Please note our shop & courtyard garden will be closed from
26th – 29th April, while the premises are being re-wired.
However, we will be able to continue our home (local) delivery service throughout.
Please place any orders online in the usual way, and we’ll contact you to arrange a time & day for delivery.
The shop & garden will re-open at 11 am on Friday 30th April, just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

This is quite a sad update, especially for people who regularly used the shop and garden space as part of their routine. Small local places like this often mean more than just a place to buy things, they also give a sense of familiarity and connection in the community. It’s always disappointing when closures happen, but it also highlights how difficult it can be for independent businesses to keep going with changing costs and footfall. Situations like this really show how important it is to support local spaces where possible. I was reading something similar here Help With Assignments UK which also touched on how community-focused services are affected by change.
